We offer a large comfortable climate controlled auction house with plenty of seating, display space, restrooms and lunch stand.

We will arrange and conduct your sale from start to finish including advertising, setup and cleanup
We can send a team to your home or business to inventory, carefully pack and transport your items to our auction center.

Complete setup of each auction will be handled by our experienced auction team in a professional manner. We will count, clean and display all for your items appropriately. At Garnavillo Auction Company we try to stay on the leading edge of technology. We have an active website which lists each auction in detail and includes color photographs of your items at no extra cost to you the seller.

Auction sale bills are mailed electronically to hundreds of potential and knowledgeable buyers in many states again at no extra expense to the seller. We also have a direct mailing list of specialty buyers, private collectors and dealers. We accept absentee and phone bids which adds to the competition and in turn means higher prices.

We have a complete computerized clerking and cashier system which means at the conclusion of your auction you can immediately be presented with a complete report including itemized receipts and expenses. Prompt payment will also be ensured.

If you have an entire collection of antiques, one single item or a line of household merchandise we will tailor an auction at our facility to fit your needs. On site auctions of any type are also available

Courtesy Absentee Bidding Service

We offer a courtesy absentee bidding service for person out of state or those persons who cannot attend the auction on the given day.
You may bid yourself by phone on any item or you may place your bid with us and we will have someone at the auction center bid on your behalf.
Your bids may be placed by phone, fax or email. This must be done at least 24 hours prior to the auction.
Bidding on your behalf will be conducted just as you yourself were sitting in the auction gallery. The crowd will start the bidding and when they have finished if we still have funds available from your absentee bid we will begin bidding for you.
(Example as follows. You have left us a bid of $500 on an item. The item opens bidding at 100.00 from the crowd and continues at increments of $25.00 until it reaches $225.00. We will then bid $250.00 on your behalf. If the no one in the crowd raises the bid the item is yours at a final bid of $250.00.)
You will be responsible for immediate pickup of the item or for all shipping charges.
